Wray - Sarah Gilliland

Mrs. Scott Wray, well known resident of this city expired at the family home, 704 South Walnut Street, Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Wray was born May 8, 1857, six miles south of this city, the daughter of James G. and Rebecca Gilliland. She wa sunited in marriage to Scott Wray Sept 26, 1888. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Besides her husband one son, Gloyd of Washington DC; one brother, John W. Gilliland of Waveland and two grandchildren, Robert and Jean Elizabeth survive. Funeral services will be conducted from the family home Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. C.L. Airhart in charge. The burial will be made in Masonic Cemetery.
